The capitol was in Rome, Italy, and the Romans conquered territory with their powerful military. They maintained control of their massive territory through an efficient government of administrators. This was mostly a time of peace and prosperity in which people were financially rewarded for their successes. The Romans developed an extensive legal system, and Roman art and architecture are still admired today. But not all members of Roman society had the same access to peace and prosperity. The Romans also practiced slavery, and women had limited authority." roosevelt essentially took the opposite approach as hoover in taking on the great depression. herbert hoover thought that america and its economy could naturally recover from the depression in due course, so he adamantly restrained the federal government from intervening on behalf of the people affected. on the other hand, roosevelt dramatically increased employment by expanding the federal government and establishing agencies that would aid in relieving some of the country's worst problems.

i believe it would influence their own way of understanding things. it shall be a foundation where they can draw or start an argument.   historians are also  scientists that  have their tools of analysis and expertise to unlock a variety of difficulties such as relationships of man, origin, politics, economy, and culture. based on facts and understanding on these areas, they may shade light to extract ideas and develop options to validate a hypothesis or debunk it.
