Why did the Federalists have more support than the Antifederalists? The Federalists wanted a bill of rights to be added to the Constitution. The Federalists were state politicians who built alliances across state lines. The Federalists were better organized and had more experience. The Federalists had support from people like Patrick Henry and John Hancock.
