The declaration of independence is the document where independence from Great Britain was declared by the thirteen colonies. On the other hand the United states bill of rights are what the ten amendments are known as. That being said the United states bill of rights guarantees a series of rights that give United states citizens constitutional protection. On the other hand the declaration has no legal power as it doesn't guarantee any right to United states citizens but it implies the causes of the struggle for independence. More differences between the two documents include the tone of both, the declaration using high language and containing strong religious language. On the other hand the constitution written in regular English and removed all religious references.
