The hull of the ship was dark and cramped. We were chained to one another and there were about 200 hundred of us all unaware of where we were being taken to. I was sold by people I have never met in my life. They came in my village and forcefully took me into their ship.

We couldn't ask nor talk to anyone as we would be lashed randomly. Everyone was tired and confused. That day they hardly gave us anything to eat or drink. It was just the starting of the worst nightmare which was yet to come.
