Juries determine if an accused person is actually guilty for a crime which protects the general welfare of the community and other fellow citizens. Additionally, jury duty allows people to learn more about the justice system and may even cause some to gain a better appreciation or understanding of this system.

interdependence is when all participating groups and individuals depend on each other. if you depend on one anothers goods, you end up trading in order to get the items you're looking for. (for ex: if i have food and you have water, we trade in order to depend on each other to live)
