Why did the Pueblo Indians divid in the 16th century

Representative of the southwest Indian culture area, most live in northern eastern Arizona and northwestern New Mexico. Early 21st century population estimates approximately 72,000 individuals of pueblo descent. so when the news of the killings and public humiliation reached pueblo they moved in force to Santa Fe where away fighting the Apache Governor Trevino was forced to release the prisoners
