Can someone please just help me with this ASAP!! Compare and contrast the areas of colonization and the relationship with the native people between the French and the British in North America

The English were concerned with placement of its excess population and in securing the flow of raw materials back to the homeland. In addition they expected the colonists to bolster England's economy with demands for manufactured goods. To meet these goals, the colonists were encouraged to make permanent agricultural settlements. This created a conflict between the English and the Natives, since the lands they were colonizing where already inhabited. The English considered the Natives to be primitive and inferior themselves. So they tried to enslave or eradicate them.

The French, on the other hand, were more concerned with controlling trade routes, with furs being the driving force. The French and the Native held a mutual-gain relationship. The French came to America mainly for the fur trade, which the Natives was already doing. So instead of being competitors over living space, they were partners in trade. The French acknowledged that there were many things that the Natives knew better than they did. They treated the natives as equal partners to help bolster trade.

answer: the articles of confederation the united states constitution was written when the people feared strong government the new nation needed some kind of organization to hold states together to them fend off future attacks and make a stronger support system through the states and people the states bonded through a friendship that best served as a defense against a invasion and states were not allowed to use taxes as a way to discourage treaties, and states were extremely limited in their dealings with foreign nations the strengths were that the congress has the highest power in the nation because of   fear of monarchy congress had the sole power to declare war and assign treaties disputes between states and territorial issues were to be brought to congress and weaknesses were the lack of power given to congress the articles gave congress the power to pass laws but no power to enforce those laws if a state did not support a federal law that state could simply ignore it congress had no power to levy taxes or regulate trade.

explanation: so like every argument they have strengths and weaknesses but in this case there were more weaknesses but they managed o get through it and make an agreement
