Describe the mutually beneficial economic relationship between cattlemen and the railroads.
The railroads traveled from ranch to ranch paying a profit to cattlemen for their cattle and
then reselling the cattle in California.
The railroads built fences that helped the cattlemen in exchange for meat for train
employees and passengers.
The railroads brought workers for the cattlemen while he cattlemen provided meaf. for the
railroad workers.
The railroads provided a way for cattlemen to get their livestock to market while the cattle
industry provided Incentive for railroads to build out west.
