The enslaved African Americans drafted many petitions to fight for their rights. They demanded equality and human rights to be given in their own home land. They used their petitions to beg for mercy and liberation.  

The founding fathers were a committee of five who drafted the Declaration of Independence. The Whites always wanted the African Americans to be separated from their community. Petitioning for freedom continuously caused a stir so that their plea for freedom was finally heard.

The petitioners used the comparison of white privilege and black enslavement to frame their argument. In the first paragraph the petitioners told how slaves were dragged apart from their families and forced into slavery. They said the slaves felt as if their friends had unjustly oppressed them. This petition mirrored the revolutionary ideas because they were speaking of similar things. The petitioners wanted freedom for black slaves, and the founding fathers wanted free from unjust laws made by the government. Both parties wanted freedom from the discriminatory rules held against them.
