Media is one of the important factors that affect the psychology or mentality of a human being. In today's world, people are highly influenced by media and popular culture.

Media and popular culture represents Black Americans as weak in foreign countries and promote the news of racism more. Media portrays a negative image of white people who abuse or discriminate between white and black rather than promoting peace and togetherness. Pop culture also represents that only white people can be popular and no one takes interest in black Americans which is a very wrong misconception.

These instances of racism and dehumanization can be challenged by removing these socio-economic disparities between black and white shown in media and media can also promote the togetherness of both the communities.
