26 of our 45 presidents have served in various branches of the military. Some of our presidents have seen combat and even been wounded during war. Only one of our presidents has ever won the Medal of Honor. Given that the president of the U. S. is Commander-in-Chief of our armed services, should military service be required for a president to be elected? Why or why not? Help would be appreciated thank you :)
