What were the articles of confederacion? what problems did the Articles have?

congress is unable to control commerce between America and foreign hations. under the articles of confederation, congress lacked the authority to regulate commerce, making it unable to protect or standardize trade between foreign nations and the various states.

some people are just against it im not sure but i think everyone deserves to be treated equally i think people have a problem with it because its different and not like everything else i hope this !
