-beads were a thing they did because of religion

-beads signified power or importance or wisdom

-beads of a certain colour/shape/size might mean certain things, e. g. 'I have children' or I am a woman/man'(there might be different beads from different genders/types of people)

-they cared about how they looked

-they had festivals where they got dressed up
