The book is The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Even though the book has Jekyll and Hyde as title characters, the reader learns a lot about Utterson. Re-examine what you know about Utterson, going back to the opening paragraphs of the novel in which he is described in detail. Why do you think the author places such emphasis on this character?
