One of them says. “I say Sam, I wonder where we are to get our Costs." There are also portraits of Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren on the wall behind the family. This cartoon was released by the Whig party during the Panic of 1837. It shows the unemployment that existed in the country at that time. What can you conclude from the cartoon?
