In June of 2012, the Court determined that the Stolen Valor Act DID violate the First Amendment - because the government could not restrict most content of speech that didnt pose an imminent threat. The Court held that false statements alone do not hold a threat.

1883 - a decision in the civil rights cases legalized racial segregation in the united states.

1887 - the dawes act was passed.

1893 - the panic of 1893 took place. (what a creative name)
