I’m really not sure on this question, could someone please explain this to me? Describe the similarities between James Monroe's and John Quincy Adams's views on U. S. foreign policy.

Oh I can GLADLY explain the question... I just don't know the answer because I haven't studied this yet :)

So, because it's a paragraph question... you can say something like "James Monroe's and John Quincy Adams's views on the U.S. foreign policy are similar." then the next sentence should be about why their views on the U.S. foreign policy are similar.

Okay and now to explain the question...

it's literally telling you to write about the two men's views. BUT all you write about is how their views are similar... so lets say if a parrot likes red apples and a frog likes red and green apples. All you wright about are the red apples because its what is similar in what they like.
