Using your Venn Diagram as a starting point, write a complete paragraph that compares/contrasts the Democratic and Whig parties of the 1800s. Write a topic sentence that introduces the subject and states an opinion. Then support that with 3 - 5 good examples. Make sure that some of your examples compare the two parties while others contrast them. Finish off with a conclusion. Be sure to format this paragraph correctly (indent, use proper punctuation and capitalization). And remember, just because this is history doesn't mean you can't be creative!
