A) The reconstruction measures implemented by radical republicans in congress included all kinds of new opportunities for African Americans including, the right to vote, property ownership, legal rights, education, and making it possible for them to even have a place in office. Radical republicans also believed that the rebels should be punished way more than the president had planned.

B) During the time of Johnson's presidency the republicans held the majority in congress. They greatly opposed his reconstruction plan. They even passed the "radical reconstruction" by repeatedly overriding the presidents vetos. During the year of 1867 congress took it a step further to weaken Johson's authority they passed the tenure of office act over his veto.
