Explain how voting has evolved since the creation of our country. As you read, you will see that state governments are mainly in control of the voter laws, however the federal government has
stepped in multiple times over the years and helped to create Constitutional Amendments to
override restrictions some states had on voting. Read each slide in this lesson and explain how
voting for all people has evolved in this country. (There has been many changes and
restrictions over the years, so do not try to complete this in a sentence or two, be thorough if
you want full credit.)
