The Silk Road was used by several groups and nations to take advantage of the constant and varied commercial exchange that used the route since the Antique Era. Such different nations like Romans, Hungarians, Armenians, Seleucids and Chinese used the Road to exchange the silk cloth produced in China for the Roman gold.
