During the Renaissance English philosopher, Francis Bacon, stressed that the idea of the individual. This empirical method of teaching was described in his book, Advancement of Learning. With this method of teaching observation, trial and error, and intellect are used. With all these different aspects being used in this type of teaching why would Bacon reject emotion as a component?

Bacon took up Aristotelian ideas, arguing for an empirical, inductive approach, known as the scientific method, which is the foundation of modern scientific inquiry.
