Cross cultural interactions in the period 600-1450

Some of the effects of this cross cultural interactions between 600-1450 CE included the Afro Eurasian Trade Network as it facilitated the spread of Islam and technology, the conversion to Islam by civilians as the basis of the religion was equality and the Great Schism which split the church permanently into Catholic and Orthodox churches.
