In the light of UN Charter, do you think United Nations Organization has been effective in the recent years?

No, they haven't.

Explanation:

In the UN charter, it is mentioned that one of the purpose of United Nations is to ensure  international peace and security. This was the reason why UN formed a security council which  is authorized to provide military's assistance to establish peace during conflicts.

But this council hasn't effectively live up to its purpose.

One example of this would be the Rohingya Crisis. Since 2017 , the government of Myanmar  launched a series of attack to Muslim minorities group in their territory. Causing the death of around 24,000 civilians. This is the type of Crises which should be handled by the Security council, but UN's involvement in the conflict was very minimal.
