Using your notes, write a two paragraph journal entry from the perspective of someone your age who is living in West Berlin during the Berlin airlift this is what I wrote hope it helps someone
(some words may be misspelled cause I just took picture of whole writing so)

I don't know whats happening or going on at this point anymore, my home and the entire city have all been completely destroyed. Every building is either completely collapsed or was disintegrated by all the bombing, we had nowhere to go, no food, no shelter, and no hope of survival. Until one day someone spotted up in the sky a plain flying East towards us. Nobody knew where it came from or why, but it was getting closer, and then we realized it was the Allies. They hadn't abandoned us, they had come to our rescue. Behind the first airplane there started appear dozens of other airplanes identical to it... It had been countless days since the last time I had eaten anything. I wasn't the only one, several people had already starved to death, most of them adults because they had given their last rations to their children, which is the only reason why I was still alive: because my parents had given what little they had left for themselves to me and my younger 5 year old brother. He was all I had left, and he was soon to be taken away by death just how it took away grandma and along with my parents... But I knew that would be no more, the evil that starving us to death would be no more, no more getting pushed around by scary men in uniforms, no more starvation, no more anguishing sorrowful cries for help, our heroes had come... I remember that same day and for many weeks after all you could see in the skies were Allied planes flying in and landing while others passing by day and night. I remember them dropping massive crates full of food like milk and bread as well as food bars and flour and cans of food and other foods. I remember them also dropping candy for all of us (the kids), but also medicine and other vital supplies for the grown ups. Eventually they started appearing less often as we didn't really need too much more supplies because of all the food and supplies that we had managed to accumulate over the first few weeks.
