Choose six leadership qualities from the lesson that you think are most important. List them in this survey chart template. Then give at least 10 people a copy of the survey chart. You may ask friends, family members, and other trusted adults. Ask each person to rank the qualities from most important (5) to least important (1). Then use the survey results chart template to calculate your survey findings. Answer the questions at the bottom of the results chart. You will use your results chart and question answers in the next step.
"Making a President" Presentation:
Use your survey results chart and your notes from the lesson to create your presentation for “Voters Unite!” You may create your presentation by hand, using a computer program, or using a Web 2.0 tool. Be creative and use color and pictures. Include the following items in your presentation:
-a list of the formal requirements to be president in the United States
-a description of a U. S. president’s job duties
-the results chart from your survey
-your explanation of the results chart
-your survey reflection
