The federal government is negativly impacting by raising taxes on the poor and not funding enough educational programs for schools. This lack of financial aid can lead to impoverished people to go to extreme lengths in order to provide food and health care to their families. Some of these actions are Stealing, Skipping school for work, selling drugs, and joining gangs for a sense of community. Thus leading people in poverty to be imprisoned for theor desperate actions. These prisons are funded by tax payers money. Meaning that the federal government is taking money from the poor to keep those same people in prison. This negativley impavts the state to fall further into poverty.
