A historical event is a fake story with real historical events. The most important element of historical fiction is the "setting". The vivid imagery of that time period is "description", The spoken language specific to the time period is called 'The dialogue' Problems that actually existed in that time period is called "Conflict" So just take some things from this and Do the dialogue and make sure you have at least one conflict and Description of where and what happened and when. And you have to have the setting for the story.
