The rise of Ottomans started in the 14th Century, but during the reign of Mehmed II country spread furthermore by conquering Byzantine Empire.

Peak of the Empire was during the reign of Suleiman I Magnificent, but after his death the country started declining due to economical problems. For centuries Empire was known as "Sick man upon the Bosporus", and then finally collapsed at the beginning of 20th Century.
