some colonist were scard of british because they know what the other colinest were doing was treason and could result in execution so they decided not to participate in it

2 some colonist were loyal to britian   which were called the loyalist

many families were serpeated   because of this son and father 1 wetn to fight in the war the other fought aganiust them which created alot of dispute between the family and   they were revolted that there families were fighting aganist them

3   aswell some colinist also   were promised freedom and protected for them to fight on the side of the british so they fought for the british in return for there freedom and protection
