What was the "Join, or Die" poster about, and who created it?

It has been awhile since I talked about this but I will give a try and hopefully I help. The it was a cartoon it was made by Benjamin Franklin i don’t know if he did do the poster too but it was made in early 1750’s so it was around the time of Franklin published by an American colonist. It had the names of the American colonies on it. ( it was for colony union) I know more about the cartoon but I bet it was still made by Benjamin. I REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS.

abraham lincoln, according to anyone who was connected with agriculture, represented the worst of northern politicians. shortly after lincoln was elected, south carolina seceded from the union. they along with other southern states, retained their anger. in a way, it was their own fault: the democrats were split in the south. some wanted slavery to be extended in other states that were about to join the union and some didn't want it badly enough. lincoln had a solid backing from his party: the republicans were united in not wanting slavery to be expanded.
