The political changes refer to the power and control exerted by European superpowers at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The best example is the "Scramble for Africa" at the end of the 1800s, in which countries such as France, Greta Britain, Germany, Portugal, and Spain split the African territory to colonize it and exploit the many raw materials of the continent.

Years later, before the beginning of World War I, the geography of Europe had changed and it permeated into Africa and India. Territorial divisions, ethnic problems, economic and political differences generated the conditions to start the war.
