Prison can be useful in many ways.
For an example, if someone else commits a crime, like disobeying the laws, they go straight to prison.
Since laws and committing crimes are useful nowadays, the government must help encourage people to obey their laws, and if they disobey, they use prisons to lock people up right after they are sentenced To court. Prisons helps people understand the wrong circumstances they did, and make them not do it again. Prisons also helps stop and promotes the people to help limit crimes, because no one would ever want to be in prison. Prison is a place where no one would ever want to be, but to be honest, every one of those people who commits crimes, like I said, will eventually go to prison, such as murder, stealing, and etc
