PLEASE HELP THIS IS MY LAST QUESTION Unlike the North, why did Southerners invest little money in mills and factories?

They thought mills and factories caused pollution.

The only had coins, like pennies and dimes, and thus their money was "little".

They did not buy manufactured goods.
