The 14th amendment granted citizenship and equal rights to African Americans and slaves who had been emancipated after the American Civil War. The 14th Amendment also guaranteed all citizens “equal protection of the laws” which refers to the government body not being able to deny people life, liberty, or property without due process of law.

traditional maasai people's lifestyle concentrates on their cattle which make up the primary source of food. amongst the maasai and several other african ethnic groups, the measure of a man's wealth is in terms of children and cattle. so the more the better.
