PLEASE ANSWER ASAP... 42 POINTS • How does "Manifest destiny" effects Native Americans? Why were Cherokees, and other Natives, forced off their land?

The settlers pushed the federal government to take the lands from the Indian tribes. White settlers believed, the Indian tribes were standing in the way of America’s manifesting destiny.
For Native Americans this meant being removed from their homeland. White Americans believed that Native Americans were not using their land to it’s potential and acted on “Indian removal.” This was stripping them of their safety and forcing them into relocation.
White settlers wanted to grow cotton as a better way of not “wasting” the potential of Native American land. This pushed out many Cherokees and other natives, forcing to them to walk hundreds of miles across the Mississippi River.
