Students will choose a prominent African-American from a supplied list and type a “Who Am I?” report in the first person. For example, if a student chose Dr. Martin Luther King as his/her person, the report might begin with—“I was born in 1929... I attended Morehouse College...etc...” The information presented in first person should end with the question—“Who Am I?”—and then the student should identify himself/herself as their chosen person—for example—“I am Dr. King.”—at the end of the report. Students should also include a picture of their chosen person at the end of the report as well. Include how they have impacted their local community and beyond.
