The reason why it was built was because, architecture was straightforward.It hads a strong foundation, and it also had support. And mostly the reason built huge stone structures high in the Andes. Was mainly because they believed in multiple gods/goddess, so i think that's why ( to worship the gods). and i also think the Inca live because in the Andes Mountains because the rich soil and the escape from other tribe
