The first is most important to me because it gives us freedom. It is our right to be able to have the freedom of religion, press, and speech. With the first amendment, we have the freedom to speak our minds and let us speak out. The first amendment is crucial and very important.

john locke is most associated with the idea of consent of the governed which is the idea that the government is only valid if it has the consent of the people who are being governed.
