Discuss the sometimes contentious relationship between Native Americans and colonists, with a specific focus on King Philip’s War and at least one other specific example (Cortes and the Aztecs, Pequot War, Pueblo Revolt, etc.). What do these events tell us about the nature of colonial conflicts (what were some common causes/reasons for the conflicts, who fought and why, what happened during these conflicts, what were the results of the conflicts)?
