How did China influence Korea?

Korea and Japan followed similar paths of development throughout history in great part because they were influenced both by China and by each other.

Chinese influence expanded when missionaries spread buddhism and Korean monks then traveled to China to learn more about Buddhism. technological advances during the Koryo dynasty. They learned to make porcelain from China, and perfected the technique for making Celadon.

Chinese cultural influence is perhaps best seen in the use of pit burial tombs in the Daedong River area and the frequent presence of horse trappings and luxury goods therein.

And then the Chinese culture was brought directly to Korea by refugees.

And They were also influenced by the China's trade goods, supplies, culture and tradition. By seeing their religions, music system and things like that, the Korean Dynasty decided to adapt these and make their own
