This convention revolved around discussing the legal, social, and political status of women in America. The ultimate goal was to discuss how American society limited women and how they could make a change. One of the biggest changes they wanted was equal political rights (especially the right to vote).

Susan B. Anthony was on board with this idea and helped to create the National American Woman Suffrage Association.
