HELPP ASAP Do you think the Harlem Renaissance could have happened in the South? Why or why not

The Harlem Renaissance would not have probably happened in the south because the Renaissance was a result of fleeing from the oppressive Deep South. It was both a literal and symbolic transition from slavery. African-Americans being able to get away from their oppressors was a large factor towards the Harlem Renaissance.
