Why did most of the immigrants who came to america in the late 19th century settle in the cities?

Most of the immigrants came to America during the late 19th century were seeking economic opportunities. Those immigrants who came to America were living in poor condition in their hometown. The reason for arrival remains different than their predecessors. They came here to work as labors and to start a new life. The vast majority of immigrants crowded into the growing cities because they worked in industries as labors.
