Choose ONE REGION that we studied.
The main idea of your paragraph is to explain how the physical geography in your chosen region made life easier and/or more challenging for natives there. You may use your slides and notes from that region to help you with facts and ideas!)
Write a paragraph in which you explain at least three ways the physical geography (climate, landforms/water, natural resources) in that region affected natives there.
Be sure to name the region and main idea in your introduction (without adding any specific details yet).
Name 3 or more specific features of physical geography in your chosen region AND explain how each one made life easier or more difficult for the natives living there.
Write a conclusion that restates the main idea and does not include added details.
Your teacher will score you using the following rubric (9 total points possible):
Includes an introduction that states the main idea AND names the region (1 point)
Names 1 correct aspect of the physical geography in that region (1 point)
Explains correctly how it made life easier or more challenging for natives there (1 point)
Names a 2nd correct aspect of the physical geography in that region (1 point)

Names a 3rd correct aspect of the physical geography in that region (1 point)
