1. Wycliffe and Hus were early reformers of the protestant reformation.
    Wycliffe was for Bible interpretation. After he died, the church dug up his         bones and burned them. Hus thought bishops should be elected and not appointed. He was burned at the stake.

2. Martin Luther was a Protestant Reformation leader. He was a German Monk and professor of theology at the University of Wittenburg.
The 95 theses is a document written by Martin Luther in 1517, challenging the teachings of the Catholic church.

3. Martin Luther gained support because he opposed the corrupt practices of the Catholic church and wanted to reform the church. Many people agreed. And with the invention of the printing press, he was able to spread his word to many places. The result of the Peace of Augsburg was a treaty signed in 1555 that officially ended the religious struggle between Lutherism and Roman Catholicism.

4. John Calvin was a prominent French theologian during the Protestant Reformation as well as the father of theological system known as Calvinism. Predestination is basically the belief that God had already determined who he would save and grant eternal life...and who he would bar from access to salvation and grant eternal death.
