How did the romans take control of the empire and rule it ( britannia )

The romans took control when Julius Caesar was in control and by many great battle tactics like make a turtle shell out of the shields, to govern it they had a ruler in a specific area that took control over a piece of land  they also had leaders that made sure everything was safe.
