the 3/5th compromise was basically where some states said that slaves should also be counted in the population, but the western states said that would be unfair becuase slavery was illegal on that side. they eventually came to an agreement that only 3/5 of them will be counted.

great compromise was representative related, bigger states wanted more representatives, while smaller states said that every state shoul have the same amount of representatives, they eventually agreed that bigger states would get more representatives depending on the population
