Which architect employed the mannerist style?
1. alberti
2. bramante
3. pontormo
4. palladio
i've narrowed it down to bramante and pontormo; pontormo was a mannerist painter, and bramante, an architect. the thing is, if i pick pontormo, he wasn't an architect. if i pick bramante, i'm not sure if he was associated with mannerism ₋₋he's often associated with high renaissance works. mannerism was said to have started about 1520s.
palladilo was about 12 then, and alberti had died about 1 or 2 decades ago.
anyways, michelangelo (an architect) is actually said to have employed or established the mannerism style, so i honestly think this question is flawed, but i have to work with two options here.
if there is anything i should reconsider, let me know.
