Germans forced to give reparations to the Allies (France, Britain, and America).

Germans required to limit their military capabilities with minimum arms and ammunition. They were also not allowed to keep any airships.

The treaty also demanded the surrender of territory.

All this led to the economic depression in the country, which made the Nazi party rise and which eventually started World War II.

At last, the Treaty of Versailles not only ended the war but imposed laws and regulations on Germany to pay the price of war.
